COVID-19, UCAT 2020 & MedEntry

Your safety is our priority

Ensuring the safety of our students, particularly during this critical year of schooling, is our priority. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, MedEntry has taken the following proactive measures to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

April Workshops will be run online

Given the COVID-19 pandemic, MedEntry has decided to move our upcoming April UCAT workshops online. This is to ensure the safety of our students and staff. The decision has been made after carefully considering guidance from various national and international health sources, as well as using our judgement as senior specialist medical practitioners. It also follows government directives to avoid indoor gatherings.

MedEntry has extensive experience in running online workshops and have sophisticated technology to ensure that these workshops are run in an engaging and interactive manner, just as in-person events. All workshops will be run by our experienced and expert specialist doctors, and will cover the same content as in-person events.

Depending on how the COVID-19 situation unfolds, workshops in May, June and July may be run in-person, if deemed safe to do so. MedEntry will be closely monitoring the situation and keeping students informed.

Our services will remain uninterrupted

MedEntry will be maintaining and extending our services to provide high quality UCAT preparation in a manner that maintains the health and wellbeing of our students.

We have been preparing students for medical entry for two decades. We have been working progressively since January so we are well prepared for our organisation to respond quickly to the changing conditions. This will ensure we can continue to seamlessly provide training to our students. We have a Education Continuity Plan in place that includes the ability to have staff work remotely, eliminating any potential disruption to your UCAT preparation.

MedEntry’s extensive, global staff members are continuing to work on providing even more quality UCAT resources for our students, delivered on our online, interactive platform. We are currently developing new question drills, new skill trainers and more services for our Platinum and Diamond Package students.

In the event that the UCAT is delayed, we will be extending all student packages until the end of testing.

UCAT 2020

At this stage, it is unclear whether UCAT 2020 will be proceeding, given the evolving situation. Pearson VUE have adopted various measures to ensure safer testing for other examinations in line with government regulations.

Final decisions on the conduct of UCAT ANZ 2020 will be made in June, and Pearson VUE will communicate with all candidates at that time.

Updates can be found at and on the UCAT ANZ Official website:

MedEntry will also be providing updates to all our students.

We understand this is a difficult and uncertain time, and hope that you and your families stay safe and healthy.
Remember: keep your distance, wash your hands, and seek medical attention if you feel unwell.
