Get The Most Out Of MedEntry

5 ways to ensure you gain the most from MedEntry

1. Use an appropriate email address

Every year we have students who miss out on important information and updates because they use a school-based or Microsoft email address (eg. Outlook, Hotmail, Live). We suggest you avoid using these email addresses. You can change your registered email address from the Edit Profile page. Please also add info@medentry.co.nz to your safe contacts list to prevent emails going to your junk/spam mail folder. Finally, please check that your other contact details (phone number and mailing address) are correct and complete.

2. Read the MedEntry Newsletter

As a MedEntry student, you will automatically receive a Newsletter via email. The Newsletter is a digest of recently created blogs, which contain useful information about UCAT preparation, medical interviews and medical entry. We suggest you read the Newsletter to keep up to date.

3. Follow MedEntry on social media

We suggest that you follow MedEntry on our social media pages, as important updates and notifications are posted throughout the year. MedEntry also has a Facebook study group where you can ask questions and discuss UCAT with other MedEntry students.

4. Take note of important dates

It is crucial to be aware of important dates in your medical entry journey. We recommend that you register for UCAT as soon as registration opens (usually early March), so you are able to select the most convenient location, date and time for you (popular slots book out). Please ensure that you register to sit UCAT before the closing date (usually mid-May). If you miss this important deadline, you will not be able to sit UCAT! Note that registering with MedEntry does not mean that you have registered to sit UCAT.

5. Start your UCAT prep now!

Our experience tells us that the most effective way to prepare for UCAT is to start early, and prepare on a regular basis. As UCAT is not a knowledge-based test, cramming is not effective! Login now to begin your preparation.
