If this is Your UCAT day, Get Excited!
It’s natural to feel nervous the day before the test, maybe even a bit panicked, but let’s try to get some perspective on your situation. Try to think of your UCAT as an audition for university, but as an audition that counts. Naturally you hope that your audition goes well, but it’s not a big deal if it doesn’t go quite as well as you’d like. Some UCAT students wind up re-taking the test in the following year.
So don’t think that all your university hopes rest on how you do on the day of the UCAT—they don’t. If you get a great score, terrific, but if you don’t, it’s not the end of the world. You’ll always have a chance ahead. There are numerous other pathways to get into the course that you want. You can take a gap year and resit UCAT; you can transfer from another course into medicine if your UCAT score is good etc. These are discussed in the MedEntry UCAT Prep course.
But if you have done all the work on the LMS and have completed the 21 practice exams, another exam on the test day shouldn't hurt you one little bit! In fact you should be looking forward to it so you can focus on other work.
