The Day before the UCAT Test

The day before the UCAT

  • If you haven’t already, make sure you know the location of your test centre. If you don’t know how to get to the centre, print out directions from Google Maps. If you haven’t taken a test before at your test centre, ask around among the seniors you know or go and check it out before, to see whether there’s anything you need to know about the place.
  • If someone is supposed to drive you to the test centre, make sure you have a back-up plan in case the person oversleeps, gets sick, or otherwise fails to show up on the morning of the test at the appointed time. A student’s dad who promised to drive her to the test venue, pulled out on the morning, citing work commitments!
  • During the day, make sure you have all the essential things you will need, the day before the test (such as ID, earplugs).
  • Also make sure you have a working alarm—or two!—in the house so you’re sure to wake up in time. If you can’t find one, borrow one from a friend or a neighbour.
  • Although you can't take a bottle of water to the test booth, it’s probably a good idea if you take one and leave it in the locker that will be provided.
  • Remember; don’t leave everything till the last minute. Be prepared!

In the MedEntry UCAT Prep course you will learn how to get into the top physical, mental, emotional and psychological state before the DAY. This is critical to your performance to your full potential in the UCAT.
