Provisional Entry for School Leavers
Provisional entry for current school leavers provides a direct pathway to the MD, guaranteeing you a place in the rural medical program at the Griffith University clinical school at Sunshine Coast University Hospital, conditional on your meeting the following minimum entry requirements and successful completion of the Bachelor of Medical Science.

- General - 99.85
- Rural - 99.70
- Regional Health Workforce Scheme - 99.10
- Subject prerequisites: None
- Recommended Subjects: English (Units 3 and 4, C)
Provisional entry students are required to complete their first bachelor degree at CQUni within the minimum time specified and achieve a minimum overall grade point average of 5.5 on a 7-point scale.
Provisional entry for school leavers is only available to students completing Year 12 in year before entry OR completing Year 12 up to one year prior to application.
USC offers 20 Commonwealth supported places (CSP) in the Bachelor of Medical Science pathway for entry to MD for school leavers. Applicants must not have previously attempted any tertiary study at diploma level or higher.
UCAT
UCAT used as a tie breaker for students in the same ATAR band. Applicants that do not sit the UCAT will be placed at the bottom of their ATAR band.
