This discount is for students purchasing the Platinum Package as a group (of 2 - 3 people including yourself). If you have one or two friends who join your group and will purchase the package, you and all your friends will get around 30% off!

A registered member can purchase a group package as follows: 

  • Register to use the website. Go to "My MedEntry". Click on shop icon (shopping trolley).
  • Select Platinum Package. Click "proceed".
  • Under available discounts, select Group Discount Platinum, follow the prompt to pay.
  • Select the package of your choice (with/without the 5 extra exams). Click "proceed" and follow prompts. Checkout.
  • Go to "My MedEntry". Click "view groups" icon. 
  • Choose to either "join a group" using the group number given by your friend, OR "form a new group" if you wish to invite friends. **Email addresses must be exact** 

Please note that each member of your group must place an individual order via the website, and must pay individually.


While all members of the group need to purchase the Platinum Package, the date and location of the workshop can vary between group members.

Please note that group discounts cannot be obtained retrospectively, that is, if you purchase the Standard Package and later find a group, you will not be able to obtain a group discount / refund.

To receive the group package discount, please ensure you have a minimum of 2 participants. Please note that you are unable to receive the group discount on an existing order. Please ensure that you have registered to use the website, and have logged in to your My MedEntry account. To receive the group discount, all members of the group must purchase the Platinum Package WITH the group discount prior to forming the group.

1) Go to “My MedEntry” and select “MedEntry Shop”

2) Select “Platinum Package” and press “Proceed”

3) Under the possible discounts, select the “group discount” option.

4) Choose whether you would like to purchase additional exams now and receive a discount or just the regular Platinum Package. Press “proceed” and then “Add to Cart”

5) View your cart and press “Checkout”

6) A page containing your information will appear. Please check that the details are correct and make any changes in the "Edit Profile" option in "My MedEntry" before continuing with the order. Once you have confirmed your details, follow the procedure to purchase. Instructions on your method of payment will appear.

7) Please Read the Terms and Conditions and then tick the agreement box to continue with your purchase.

Once your payment is confirmed and your package is activated, if you are the one creating the group, you can now form it. If you are not the group creator, you will have to wait for your group's creator to invite you.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have selected EFT, Cheque  or Money Order, there is a waiting period for the payment to be processed before your package is activated. You are not able to form or join a group until your payment is processed. 

FOR GROUP CREATORS:

Step 1) On the "MyMedEntry" page, click “View Groups”

Step 2) Select “Form a new group”

Step 3) Enter the emails of the other group members  NOTE: You must enter the EXACT email the person has used to register with MedEntry. Please ensure you input their emails correctly. Press “Submit” once done.

 Check your email. You should receive an email that will look like this:

If you have invited someone who has not registered and purchased a group platinum package with MedEntry, please direct them to this FAQ.

Once you have joined the group, you can now see the group through the "View Group" icon.

NOTE:

·     Paying your share will give you instant access to the LMS, however you will be     unable to book your place in a workshop until all group members have paid.

·     Once all group members have paid, you will then be able to book your workshops.

·     Any group member is able to invite more people to join the group

·     Once you leave a group, you will be unable to rejoin unless invited.

·     Each group member is individually able to purchase and pay for either the 'Platinum Package' or the 'Platinum Package + 5 extra practice exams'. Group members do NOT have to purchase the same one (for example, two members in a group could choose the 'Platinum Package + 5 extra practice exams' and one could choose the 'Platinum Package'.

 

You must have a minimum of two members in your group (you and at least one other) before this step is possible, and a maximum of three. If, however, there are more than three group members you can form two groups (e.g. 2 in one group, and 2 in another).

In order to join your friends who have already purchased the group Platinum Package:

  • Your friend must invite you via email to join their group, using your EXACT MedEntry registered email address
  • Once you receive the invitation email, follow the process detailed in the FAQ "Purchasing process for Group Package"
  • Choose "join a group" using the group number given by your friend in the invitation email OR click on the link provided in this email

NOTE : you can only join a group if your registered email address is identical to the invited email address.

No, the date and location of the two day course can vary between group members.

Your workshops can only be booked when all group members are fully paid.

      1. Log in to 'My MedEntry' on the MedEntry homepage. Then click on "view Groups".
      2. Follow 'view group no: XXXX' link.

Your current group members will be visible on this page.

You can invite more fiends, and cancel invitees from this page, by clicking the appropriate buttons.

The maximum number of students in a group is three. If you have more than three people in your group, please split your group into two smaller groups.

Group package students can only book their workshop once payment is received for all members of that group.

Eg. If you have a group of 3, you cannot book a workshop unless all 3 members have paid.

Group members will have access to LMS once payment is received for their part of the group package.

 

  • Check that the email address is IDENTICAL to the registered MedEntry email address. If incorrect, please obtain a new invitation with correct details from any existing group member.
  • All group members must first be registered. Members can then login into My MedEntry, click on "view groups",  then "join group" and enter the group number received in the email.

If you find that your group becomes more than the maximum of 3, divide your group into 2 groups: 

OPTION 1 - Join an existing group

  • Obtain an email invitation from a member of the group that you wish to join.
  • Leave your current group by clicking the "leave group" button (N.B. the group you leave must still have the minimum of 2 members remaining)
  • Select "join a group" using the group number supplied in your invitation email.

OPTION 2 - Start a new group

  • Leave your group (as above) and click on "form a group"
